Applied Energetics can design a custom USP laser for the most demanding applications. We combine our proprietary femtosecond laser with various amplifier configurations to create high performance laser systems.

A high pulse energy system composed of a Yb:KYW oscillator and Yb:YAG amplifier can produce:

  • Yb:KYW oscillator and Yb:YAG amplifier
  • 1031nm Wavelength
  • Up to 10 mJ per pulse
  • 1 to 10 ps pulse width range
  • 1 to 10 kHz Rep rate range
  • M² < 2

A high average power system:

  • Over 100 Watts average
  • 30 MHz repetition rate

Delivered systems include the Transportable Demonstrator In February 2008, Applied Energetics delivered a transportable, vehicle-based, femto-second, high-power laser system to the U.S. Navy. The Ultra-Short Pulsed Laser Transportable Demonstrator is an integrated, mobile, laser laboratory with a state-of-the-art, ultrashort pulsed laser and motion-stabilized beam delivery optics. This system provides the Navy with unique capabilities to study terawatt laser-atmospheric interactions in a wide variety of environments and over long ranges.
